How to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to The Royal Golden Jubilee Building,
2 Soi Soonvijai, New Petchburi Road, Bangkok, THAILAND

1) Taxi

Suvarnabhumi airport terminal is approximately 21 kilometers (13 miles) east, 30-50 minutes to the Conference Venue, depending on traffic and time of day. Public taxistands are located on level 1 (one level down from the Arrivals level). The taxi fare is charged by the meter plus a 50 Baht airport surcharge. If you select a metered taxi the driver may ask you to provide the toll fees enroute. Alternately you should be able to negotiate a mini bus taxi which will hold about 4 people plus luggage for around 1000 Baht or a regular taxi for 2 people plus luggage which should cost no more than 600 Baht including freeway tolls and taxes, which is still pretty cheap door to door transport.

2) Sky Train

The Bangkok Airport Rail Link (ARL city line) (06:00-midnight) that connects downtown Bangkok with Suvarnabhumi International Airport is a smart alternative to the airport’s express buses or taxis. The City Line makes three stops between downtown (Ramkhamhaeng Station) and the airport, completing each run in 20 minutes, making this a quick and convenient transport option for getting in and out of Bangkok. The Airport Rail Link connects you to the Ramkhamhaeng Station. Then, take the Taxi to Conference Venue. Ramkhamhaeng Station is approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) west, 10 minutes to the Conference Venue

Today Don Mueang Airport is Bangkok’s secondary international airport, handling both domestic and international. This airport is located in the north of center Bangkok. It is located at about the same distance from the city center as the main Suvarnabhumi Airport (Suvarnabhumi is at the east of Bangkok). There is NO an airport-train (nor Metro or Sky train) to Don Muang Airport, like there is for the main international airport Suvarnabhumi (A Sky train line is being built at these moments).

1) Taxi

About 500-600 Baht from the airport to town, 30-50 minutes  to the Conference Venue, depending on traffic and time of day (the difference is due to extra charges from the airport). The taxi fare is charged by the meter plus a 50 Baht airport surcharge.

The Donmuang Airport Railway that connects downtown Bangkok with Don Mueng International Airport is a smart alternative to the airport’s express buses or taxis. The City Line makes six stops between downtown (Krung Thep Aphiwat (Bang Sue Grand)) and the airport, completing each run in 25 minutes, making this a quick and convenient transport option for getting in and out of Bangkok. The SRT line connects you to the Krung Thep Aphiwat (Bang Sue Grand). Then, walk into the MRT Blue Line (Bang Sue Station) to Phetchaburi Station, and finish with a short taxi. Phetchaburi Station is approximately 2.7 kilometers (1.6 miles) west, 10 minutes to the Conference Venue

3) Airport Bus

There is a high frequency BMTA A1 Bus (Don Mueang Airport), which goes to the nearest BTS Sky train Mochit station (also a Metro-MRT station called Chatuchak).
